Ingredients:
3 Tablespoons Organic Oatbran
¾ cups water or milk
1-2 Tablespoons nut or seed butter
1-3 teaspoons chia seeds
1-1.5 teaspoons cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice (make sure without added sugar)
½ cup fruit (chopped apples, blueberries, raspberries, etc)
Optional: top with grain-free granola (see recipe)
Instructions:
Put oatbran and water in a microwave safe bowl
Microwave on HIGH for 1.5-2 minutes
Stir in nut/seed butter and cinnamon
Add chia seeds
Add ½ cups fruit
Top with 1-4 tablespoons of grain free granola (see recipe)
*Tips:
Always choose organic oat products, as conventional oats are often sprayed with glyphosate. Glyphosate is a pesticide that disrupts our gut microbiome.
Look for gluten free if needed. Oats are often contaminated with gluten during processing. Oats may not always be safe for those with celiac disease, so please consult with your healthcare provider to see if they are right for you.
